We are looking for highly motivated professionals with an eye for detail and the dedication to provide a first-class service at all times. We have an opportunity for an Estate Agent.

The key activities of an Estate Agent include:

  • Reporting to Residential Sales Manager
  • Working with the Residential Sales Manager to manage all aspects of the estate agency business at Northwood
  • Ability to work across all 3 sites (Rosemount, Inverurie, Banchory) and travel to meet potential sellers and buyers on a day to day basis
  • Weekend availability essential (on a rota basis)
  • Responsible for dealing with sales enquiries and converting to business
  • Assisting sellers to prepare their property for market including organising maintenance and property staging
  • Marketing properties for sale to company standards
  • Managing buyer enquiries, booking in viewings and conducting viewings
  • Managing all negotiations on behalf of seller and buyer to maximise sales values achievable
  • Liasing with buyers, sellers and solicitors to ensure a smooth transaction to completion
  • Inbox management – ensuring emails dealt with on a timely basis and to company standard
  • Working towards achieving monthly goals set for the estate agency team
  • Proactively working with the Sales and Lettings Team to ensure the smooth running of all transactions
  • Effectively managing all seller and buyer relationships to a high standard
  • Co-ordinating and attending Open Nights throughout the year
  • Attending regular networking events to build relationships, create brand awareness to contribute to the growth of the business

Full training and on-going support will be provided, applicants must have the following:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • A positive customer focused attitude and ability to deliver a high-quality service to both buyers and sellers
  • The ability to articulate with clear communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy and fast moving environment
  • IT skills with the ability to learn new systems

Working hours:

  • Flexible – minimum 21 hours per week
  • Weekend availability essential (on a rota basis)
