Community spirit for the King's Coronation

To mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation, thousands of organisations across the country are getting together to give us all the chance to help out in our own local communities.

Here at Northwood, we’re partnering with our TaxAssist neighbours to collect items for local foodbanks between 17th April until 12th May.

We’d be so grateful if you could donate in-date non-perishable foods, such as:

• UHT or long life milk
• Tinned soup
• Tinned meat & fish
• Tinned vegetables
• Rice & pasta
• Jar sauces
• Cereals
• Tinned fruit
• Biscuits & snack bars
• Teabags & instant coffee
• Sugar
• Diluting juice
• Dog & cat food
• Basic toiletries

More and more people in the north east are relying on food banks but donations have significantly dropped with the cost of living crisis and fresh food shortages ramping up the price and demand for tinned goods. With a £35 drop in Universal Credit payment each week, rises in day-to-day living and bills, it has been an extremely challenging year for many.

All items dropped off at our Aberdeen office will be donated to Instant Neighbour, and all goods dropped off at our Inverurie office will be donated to the Aberdeenshire North Foodbank.

Thank you in advance for your generosity ❤️
