Jonathan set up Northwood Worcester with his wife Maria in 2003 with the primary aim of offering highly professional letting services for landlords and tenants in a friendly and approachable manner. As the business has grown over the years, so too has the number of customers and clients who recommend Northwood to others. This is testament to the success of the original aim and is something that the whole team is extremely proud of. Jonathan is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years experience in the property industry gained in both the commercial and residential sectors and has an honours degree in Estate Management. He is a big F1 fan and has been known to play the piano on occasion.
Maria set up Northwood Worcester with husband, Jonathan, in 2003 with the primary focus being to provide excellent customer service. In addition to the general running of the business, her responsibilities include the financial and accounting aspects of the company. Maria is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years experience in the property industry gained in both the commercial and residential sectors and has an honours degree in Estate Management. She is an F1 fan and is very proud of her selfie with Lewis Hamilton that Lewis actually took for her!
Sarah first joined Northwood in January 2008 having spent five years with a Hereford-based letting company and two years in retail prior to that. During her initial time with us, she gained extensive experience in many aspects of the business including marketing, viewings, referencing, tenancy agreements, inventories, property inspections, check-outs, tenancy deposit legislation and all-round customer service. She left to start a family and re-joined the team as Manager in April 2018.
Sarah holds NVQ qualifications in Business Administration and Customer Service.
Senior Property Advisor
Rob joined us with 7 years experience working in lettings based in Worcester and has an excellent knowledge of our local area. He started his career in the commercial insurance industry following which he ran his own business for a time before making the switch to lettings. He enjoys the meeting and helping property owners and prospective tenants and his role includes responsibility for taking on new instructions through to matching prospective tenants and the completion of new lettings.
Senior Property Coordinator
Harriet joined us with extensive prior customer service and system skills having spent three years working for a well-known major high street retailer where she became Deputy Store Manager. Prior to that she spent 11 years working in the commercial insurance sector. She enjoys the synergies between her previous roles and being with Northwood and her role includes responsibility for the renewal of contracts and tenancy agreements and the coordination of maintenance and repairs across our portfolio of managed properties.
