Amy joined the team in October 2017 as Office Manager and has brought with her a wealth of management experience from a service lead industry.
Amy has been using her experience & creative thinking to improve the services we offer to our customers. By way of example, she has recently undertaken the mammoth task of introducing electronic signing technology into the office, using Docusign. This enables our customers to more easily & securely sign “paperwork” such as contracts & renewals and has the additional benefit of reducing the environmental impact associated with printing large numbers of documents.
Amy is a fun loving character and able to see the best in all people and any situation. This results in often being able to find a positive resolution when dealing with potentially stressful situations. The team rely on Amy’s motivational spirit and level headed problem solving …
Sales and Lettings Manager
Ben is our Sales & Lettings Manager. He joined the team in January 2017 and has over 20 years industry experience. Ben started his estate agency career with a large corporate when he was just 18 years old and has worked in both Crawley & Horsham. He also set-up & successfully ran his own estate agency business, which he later sold.
Ben’s commitment and passion for the industry is highly regarded by the team and he has an incredibly strong work ethic and a natural skill in dealing with clients.
In his spare time Ben manages Horsham FC Youth, as well as spending as much time as he can with his wife and 2 children.
Assistant Regional Manager
Emma previously managed home repairs in an insurance based environment before joining us in October 2016 as an Inventory Clerk.
Since joining we soon realised Emma’s great potential and she was promoted to Assistant Office Manager in January this year, helping Amy in running the office. Emma is very perceptive, has an eye for detail and is always able to remain calm under pressure!
Emma is studying for a degree in her own time and is an avid film fan!
Sales & Lettings Negotiator
Having previously been employed in recruitment Katelyn has easily been able to transfer her skills into Lettings and Estate Agency. She has been keen to learn every aspect of the business and is a very hard worker who aims to provide 100% in every task she undertakes. We have found that she thrives in a busy fast paced office such as ours and she genuinely enjoys finding the perfect tenants for Landlords.
Katelyn is the ‘sweetheart’ of the office so you will always be welcomed with a lovely smile and a professional attitude. Her party trick is that she can moon walk.
Property Maintenance Co-ordinator
Sue has worked in the local property sector for over 18 years and has a wealth of experience in Property Management and is a source of invaluable knowledge.
Sue has been with Northwood since 2011 and is the ‘Mum’ of the office, always willing to lend a sympathetic ear and a shoulder to cry on. Other than her kind, bubbly and caring disposition she is also extremely conscientious and refuses to leave a task unresolved.
Sue has 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren who she loves to spoil rotten.
Claire has joined Northwood with over 20 years experience within the industry and specifically carrying out Inventories, Check-Outs and Property Inspections. This particular role is quite complex so therefore experience, knowledge and a keen eye for detail is essential, so we were delighted when Claire agreed to join our team.
We have been blown away by Claire’s commitment, ability and work ethic.
Outside of work, Claire has a teenage son who keeps her very busy but she loves spending time with him, her partner and her friends.
Graduate Accounts Administrator
A Spanish and Marketing graduate, who after all his hard work took a well-earned ‘year out’ to travel Australia.
Matthew mainly deals with accounts administration including payments to Landlords and Contractors, generating statements and chasing Tenant arrears and issuing legal notices. His analytical mind and keen eye for detail helps to keep the office running smoothly and he is continuously looking for ways to streamline procedures.
Matthew is currently the Captain of the Roffey Cricket Club and has played the sport for most of his life. He actually attended boarding school on a scholarship in order to progress in the sport he loves.
Daniela joined the company in February 2015 and used to work with Gemma at the corporate lettings agency based in Horsham. Gemma had always relied on Daniela as her ‘right hand man’ and it was no different when she started at Northwood as Assistant Office Manager.
Daniela has since given birth to beautiful twin boys and as a result has reduced her hours in order to spend as much time with them as possible. Although she is now only in the office for 2.5 days per week she is invaluable to us.
Daniela is extremely family orientated and spends as much time as she can not only with her children & partner, but also her wider family circle.
Meg is currently on sabbatical in Alaska with her husband. The team miss her very much and we all hope they don't get too cold over there!
