Here’s how it works.
Instead of taking on large numbers of properties For Sale, we specifically limit the numbers on our books. The reason for this is that we then have the time to provide a higher quality of service for those vendors who sell their properties through us.
Having time for your property sale is never more crucial than after an offer price has been agreed between you and a prospective purchaser. We call this part of the process “sales chasing” and it involves us in discussions with all of the various participants in the sales chain, from yourself to the surveyors, mortgage brokers, solicitors, the purchaser etc…. Of course if there is a chain involved in the sale, these participants can be multiplied a number of times over which, as you can imagine, makes the whole process very complicated indeed !
So, does having fewer properties and more time available to sell them, work ?
Well, this year we have completed or sold subject to contract on just short of 95% of the properties we have marketed. An excellent result, we think you’ll agree.
