Steve is highly customer service orientated and is the owner of Northwood Wigan which he opened in June 2008. He graduated and worked in chemical engineering but then had a career shift into customer service working in senior management positions for GE, AmEx, Aegon and CHEP. He has built a team delivering excellent customer service; the awards made by allAgents in 2015 and 2016 and the countless recommendations the business receives are a testament to this. Although not from Wigan originally, he has had family who have lived in the area and he visited for many years and now, 8 years later, and having witnessed many changes to Wigan he feels like he is a native Wiganer! Steve has achieved the highest qualification in lettings – the BTEC Level 4 in Lettings and Residential Management. He would love to hear from homeowners / landlords who are looking to sell/rent their property.
Michelle joined the business when it opened in June 2008 after working for both corporate and independent agencies. Michelle has seen the team grow and develop, she plays a central role within the team and oversees the day to day running of the branch to ensure the best possible customer service is delivered to our customers. She enjoys the opportunity to meet with landlords, homeowners, buyers and tenants to discuss all their property needs. Michelle understands and fully appreciates the importance that is attached to buying, selling, letting or renting a property and she aims to make the process as individualised, seamless and professional as possible for each and every customer.
Kath is a highly valued member of the team for her detailed knowledge of Wigan. She brought to Northwood many years of experience in property through working in a local solicitor’s and then customer service through her experience in the travel industry. Kath joined the business when it opened in June 2008 and has enjoyed seeing the business grow. She has seen the team grow from those early days and her own role has developed from being the office based administrator to now managing all aspects of inspection and maintenance of properties. Kath still has a hand in the selling and letting of properties and enjoys her multi-aspect role. She is highly commended by tenants and landlords alike for her desire to sort property issues out as quickly as can be achieved. Her focus and attention to detail is widely recognised by the business’s customers and the rest of the Northwood team.

Kim joined Northwood Wigan in October 2016 with over 10 years’ experience in the sales and lettings industry. Throughout those 10 years, she has mainly worked for a large corporate estate and letting agent in and around Manchester but more recently for a local letting agent. She comes to us with many recommendations from both landlords and tenants, her desire has been to be part of a professional team that has a customer service focused approach which she feels she is now part of. Kim considers herself to be enthusiastic, eager and passionate, with a willingness to learn and use her knowledge of the industry to help her in her role. Sales & Lettings Negotiator
Karen joined the team in 2011 after a period of 10 successful years in Facilities Management and Health and Safety, during which she obtained the widely recognised NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications. She is seldom seen in the office as the majority of her time is spent completing property inventories, carrying out tenant check-in appointments and attending viewings with potential customers on both sales and lettings properties. Her attention to detail ensures inventories are completed to a highly accurate standard making check in and check out appointments smooth and problem free. Karen is an integral member of the close-knit team and delivers the best possible service which is evident in the feedback she has received from our customers.
Sales & Lettings Advisor
Brigitta is our first bilingual team member. She has worked many years for a Letting Agency and gained valuable experience of HMO and Single Let management. During this time, she completed the nationally recognised Residential Letting and Property Management (ARLA) qualification, equivalent to A Level.
She has grown a real passion for property, and helping clients find their perfect home.
Brigitta was attracted to join Northwood Wigan in August 2020 for its renowned high standards of customer service offered.
Adaptability, creativity and negotiating skills are amongst her key attributes making her a great addition to the team.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with her family.
Sales & Lettings Negotiator
Tina joined Northwood Wigan in January 2020. Having over 15 years experience within sales and lettings, working for both large corporate and local agents Tina has knowledge of many areas including Wigan, Leigh, Warrington and, Worsley & Swinton. Tina started off as a trainee valuer, then managed branches before having children and returning as a part time valuer/sales consultant. Tina is very customer focused and enjoys helping people to achieve their goals whether it’s selling or buying. In 2007 Tina acquired both the NAEA and ARLA qualifications.
Senior Sales Negotiator
Michelle joined the team here at Northwood Wigan as senior sales consultant earlier on this year. She comes with a wealth of knowledge due to her having almost 20 years experience within the residential sales and lettings industry. Michelle has always worked across the Wigan area for both large corporate companies and some smaller independents. She has proved to be a highly motivated member of the team and is extremely passionate about providing excellent customer service and advice to vendors, purchasers, landlords and tenants about the house moving process.
After working in the hospitality industry for 15 years Pam decided it was time for a change and take her career in a different direction and started to work for Countrywide Estate Agents. Pam spent 18 successful months with Countrywide before leaving to follow her dream of becoming airline cabin crew. She has spent the last 4 and a half years travelling the world visiting places she thought she would only see on TV! An opportunity came along for Pam to join the Northwood Wigan team as a Sales and Lettings Negotiator and she took it, relishing the opportunity to use her customer service skills and knowledge to get back to helping people buy and sell property. Meeting new people with different requirements every day and striving to offer each and everyone of them the very best level of customer service is what keeps this rewarding and exciting.
Senior Sales Advisor
After working in retail, customer service and retention Jade decided to take her career in a different direction, she has always had a passion for property and people so decided to put the two together. Jade has come to love working in property over the last 3 years and after several successful years with Countrywide as sales negotiator and marketing advisor in different locations, Jade decided to leave and joined Northwood in October 2016 as she wanted to work for a company that’s main focus was putting their clients’ needs first and providing exceptional customer service. Outside of work Jade likes to socialize with friends and family and enjoys a spot of dog walking with her cocker spaniel, Romeo.
Junior Office Administrator
Willow is the youngest member of the team at Wigan and joined Northwood in July 2016 at the age of Sixteen.
She loves the team’s drive, commitment and customer focused culture which she feels has been a great influence on her.
Outside of work Willow enjoys socialising with friends and family and is working towards her Duke of Edinburgh Gold award to go with her awards at Silver and Bronze.
She is currently studying BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care at college and in 2019 will start University to study and become an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP).
She says she will take what she’s learned about serving people at Northwood into the operating theatre.
Willow is responsible for administration tasks around the office including filing, archiving and invoicing.
Chris started working with Northwood earlier this year, having learned the ropes in another MAB office. He graduated in 2009 and has a wealth of experience in retail management where he developed a real passion for customer service, which drives him to go the extra mile for every customer.
