Sara has been with the Newcastle team since 2009 having spent the previous 2 years at the Northwood Northampton branch. Qualified to the highest lettings industry standard she is an Associate member of RICS. She joined the team as a lettings negotiator and she was key to the development and growth of the business. As Operations Manager she was heavily involved moving the business to Denton Burn. She helped carry furniture into and out of the removals van and got stuck in with the paint rollers. Sara is now our General Manager enjoying the challenges the role brings each day and is proud to maintain a high level of service. I doubt there is anyone in the area that knows more about the regulations and growing legislation that has been piled onto the industry in recent years. As a landlord you will not find anyone more knowledgeable to protect your property interests.
Senior Sales and Lettings Negotiator
Victoria joined Northwood in 2014 after completing her Degree at Leeds Metropolitan University. She began life at Northwood as a lettings negotiator and demonstrated a remarkable aptitude for the job and was promoted to the role of Senior Sales and Lettings negotiator. Victoria has gained a wealth of knowledge in her field through in house training and is always absorbing new ideas, keeping abreast of the property market as a whole and local trends in the North East. Victoria has a really positive, can do attitude. She has an infectious energy and a very competitive nature, meaning once she has your house listed she will be determined to get the best price. (just be careful if you ever play monopoly with her!) She hates losing a sale!
Michaela has now been with Northwood for 5 years. Originally employed to cover Inventory and inspections she helped us to improve and maintain a very high standard to protect landlords and tenants in light of the increasing government regulations of the rental market. Michaela was promoted to Property Manager after two years and then due to her hard work and dedication promoted again to Assistant Manager. Michaela now overseas and deals with all aspects of the operational side of lettings. She is the practical joker of the team but her stern manner and dry wit keeps the office on their toes as it is hard to know if she is having fun or telling you off! She has a can-do attitude, is always there to support her colleagues and gets the job done even if it means putting in a few extra hours. Sales Pregression and Sales and Lettings Negotiator
Jayne has more than 10 years of experience within the industry and has a lot of knowledge of all sectors as well as great local knowledge. Jayne's main priority with Northwood is to help the sales process run smoothly and ensure buyers and vendors are as stress free as possible. Jayne has a great positive can do attitude and prides herself on giving great customer service and will help the team in anyway she can.
Megan started in the industry as a apprentice and has built her knowledge through on the job training and studying a diploma in residential lettings and management and NFOPP technical award in residential lettings which she has nearly finished. Megan came to Northwood to expand her knowledge and opportunities and her calm methodical manner has stood her in good stead with our landlords and tenants. Problem solving, communication and common sense is the main attributes you need for this role which are Megan's strength as well as her happy go lucky personality.
Andrew has years of experience within the industry mainly in Sales however when we had a vacancy for a Lettings Negotiator he took this opportunity and has been a great asset in the role. Andrew is a dedicated team player who's quirky personality entertains us daily. Now he is working closely with Micheala with applications that come in their communication's are hilarious. Whilst Andrew has many skills his tea making abilities not great, so if he asks you if you want a drink when you come in....say no!
