As a professional landlord for over 10 years, I was impressed with the Northwood Guaranteed Rent product, and Northwood's integrity in requiring all offices to be members of The Property Ombudsman, Safeagent, and SafeAgent. I setup Northwood Dulwich in 2010, and enjoy advising professional and accidental landlords on how to get the most from their property investments. Buying and selling property is often very stressful for both the vendor and buyer. To try and relieve this stress, our professional sales team is focused on honesty, and exceptional communication with all parties. Prior to joining Northwood Dulwich in 2013, I spent over 20 years working in the prestige sector of the retail motor trade. In my present role I am able to combine my customer relations and negotiation skills with my passion for property. Having lived in the Dulwich area for nearly 40 years, I enjoy using my local knowledge and experience to help Vendors and Landlords get the most out of their property.
Having worked as a negotiator in South London for over 15 years, I have an in depth knowledge of the areas covered by our local offices. I find that my knowledge of 7 languages helps as the area has become more multicultural. When it comes to negotiating between parties, an understanding of the cultures as well as languages is vital. I find the South London area an excellent place to live, having raised my family in the excellent local schools and spending free time in the many local parks.
As a Dulwich resident myself for over 20 years and with Northwood’s on-going support, you can be confident knowing your investment is being looked after. With over 10 years in the Customer Service industry and 7 years in Property as both Negotiator and Property Manager, I possess the natural ability to satisfy our clients through my personal and friendly approach. As a property manager, Ally’s passionate approach to customer service and years of industry experience allows Northwood West Norwood to provide an award-winning service to her clients. Ally joined Northwood in 2012 and has progressed through every corner of the business using her expert property knowledge and enthusiasm.
I started working for Northwood on a part time basis in 2014. Over the years I have helped in everything from office administration, tenant progression and lettings negotiation. As the accounts manager, this background in all aspects of the business help me to make sure client money is handled correctly and that clients get paid in a timely manner. I was born and raised in the Dulwich area and truly love all that the area has to offer.
I joined Northwood’s team as Property Inspector 2019 and enjoy the relationships that have developed with both tenants and landlords. Today with our busy but social restricted lives, inspections are necessary for catching up with any concerns they have regarding their home and property. The primary purpose of my role is to check everything is safe, in good working order and gives the opportunity to spot any repairs & maintenance issues before they could become a problem ensuring peace of mind for all. I grew up in South London and familiar with Norwood and the surrounding areas. I particularly love Brockwell Park to walk through and unwind. I love to stop by the Sunday market just outside Herne Hill Station and the monthly Norwood Feast. They have a number of stalls selling fine teas, cakes, bread, good street food and much more giving a lovely sense of community.
