Robert Gordon University Law and Management student Grace has completed a six-week placement with our Aberdeen office.
During her time here, Grace supported the team by working front of house, dealing with customers including landlords, tenants and house sellers and buyers.
Her time at Northwood gave her an opportunity to learn about Compliance, which plays a vital role within the industry ensuring that properties are safe, legally compliant and suitable for tenants before they are marketed or occupied. She also gained an insight into the extensive processes involved in managing compliance across a large portfolio of properties. Northwood has a comprehensive set of management systems and operational processes which are used to onboard landlords, track certification deadlines and monitor compliance, all of which allow our Compliance Co-Ordinator to maintain high standards across the business.
Another area of particular interest for Grace was Northwood North East’s creative and strategic approach to property marketing across both sales and lettings, from engaging and relevant social media campaigns to brochures, banners, TV screen displays to adverts in regional and national publications.
During her time in the office, Grace brought enthusiasm, professionalism and a willingness to get stuck in. It’s been a pleasure having her on the team and we all wish her the very best in her studies and future career!
