Jim opened Northwood Chester in January 2002 after 20 years as a Retail Manager. His key role is the running of the business along with his wife Helen and Daughter Katie to ensure that Northwood Chester delivers first class customer service to all our clients along with a family run personal touch. Jim believes that the ongoing success of the business would not be possible without his highly qualified and experienced team who are genuinely capable of guiding our landlords, tenants, vendors and buyers through every step of the lettings or sales process.

Kate joined the company in 2011 and proved to be a natural. Keen to further develop her knowledge she completed the BTEC Level 4 Professional Diploma in Residential Letting and Management in 2013, which was solely down to her hard work and commitment to studying in her own time. Kate has worked her way up the ranks and is now our Managing Director, she thrives in this demanding role and enjoys her job thoroughly. Helen has worked alongside husband Jim and daughter Katie in the day to day running of Northwood Chester since they opened the business in January 2002. Her previous background was in retail management and management training. Helen completed the BTEC Level 4 Professional Diploma in Residential Lettings & Management in 2011. This recognised industry qualification cemented perfectly Helens wealth of practical knowledge, particularly when dealing with the numerous legal aspects that need to be considered when letting out properties. Helen ensures that she and the team keep right up to date with changes in legislation which may affect landlords and tenants. "I enjoy the variety involved in the smooth running of the business and ensuring that we provide a first class service to all of our customers."
Kathryn is also responsible for proactive viewing arrangements, accompanied viewings to show clients around our sales and rental properties and some office based admin work. "I enjoy meeting people and getting to know them as they search for their new home. Whether they are looking to rent for the first time or looking to buy one of the many properties we have for sale."
