Area Highlights

Turkish restaurant Hattush offers belly dancing and live music on Saturday nights, and the Brockley Jack pub 10 minutes’ walk away in Crofton Park, has its very own fridge theatre.

Escape city life with a walk through the ancient wood at One Tree Hill, fly a kite and admire the views across London at the top of Blythe Hill, or exhaust the children at Honor Oak Park recreation ground, which sits right in the middle of a cemetery.

Babur is widely regarded as one of London’s finest Indian restaurants – you can’t miss the huge fibreglass tiger standing guard above its doorway. And for shoppers, Jumping Bean is a lovely little boutique packed with interior design inspiration.

You’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to great primary schools. Stillness Infants and Fairlawn are both rated Outstanding by Ofsted. And there are a plethora of popular ‘Good’ options in the area too.

Regular trains will whisk you to London Bridge in less than 15 minutes, Shoreditch in under 25, and you can go from the station platform to your desk at Canary Wharf in 20 minutes.
