East Dulwich Area guide

"East Dulwich is a vibrant area which appeals to young professionals and families alike. The community feel is fantastic and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!"

Area Highlights

Lordship Lane has it all… a shiny new Picture House Cinema and a load of lovely gastropubs, bars and restaurants to tempt your tastebuds.

Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye Park are both very close, offering ducks, play areas and – in the former – quirky recumbent bicycles for hire.

A plethora of pubs, almost every cuisine imaginable, and dozens of independent shops selling everything from fresh vegetables to high fashion. Oh, and M&S Simply Food is opening soon too!

Ofsted ranks East Dulwich’s state primaries and secondaries well. And independents Dulwich College, Alleyn’s and James Alleyn’s Girls School are nearby too.

Regular trains will whisk you to London Bridge in 18 minutes, or stroll to Peckham Rye or Honor Oak Park for the Overground towards Canary Wharf and Shoreditch.
