Andy started the first Northwood office in 1995 in Portsmouth and is still working as hard as ever to this day! Now as part of a network of over 80 offices shows that the business goes from strength to strength. His extensive knowledge of the property market helps the day to day running of the offices and the working week is spent between the Portsmouth, Waterlooville and Bournemouth offices. Andy & Jane are very proud of the team and the business achievements. When he is not working he spends his time being a taxi and cashpoint for his 4 young daughters. Hobbies include football, athletics, dancing and thatâ€™s the kids not him.
Jane joined Northwood as Director in 2007. After almost twenty years in media sales, marketing and management for both local and national newspapers and radio stations. â€œThe two industries are different however the business principles remain the same, offer a great product and deliver fantastic customer service and your business will grow. This cannot be achieved without a team of happy, committed and professional people which I believe we have.â€ Jane and Andy own the Portsmouth, Waterlooville & Bournemouth offices. Outside of work is equally busy with two young boys. They enjoy travelling and being out and about at a beach somewhere usually followed by some great food and drink with friends at a pub. If Jane ever gets any spare time she loves to go horse riding or swim uninterrupted, her guilty pleasure is she is a lifelong adoring fan of Elvis.
Emma joined Northwood Waterlooville in 2016, Emma has always worked in the customer service and sales industry as she is very much a people person. Emma enjoys a good shopping spree and quality time with her family and friends.
Katrina joined Northwood Waterlooville as a Saturday person however with her passion for property and knowledge of the local area this wasn’t enough! Katrina boasts a wealth of knowledge on the local market in both sales and rentals. In her spare time, you’ll usually find Katrina walking her dog, on a cruise ship or keeping her two sons in check.
Simon Bell joined Northwood in 2015 having previously worked as branch manager for a local independent estate agent for 16 years. With over 20 years’ experience in the property industry, Simon brings with him honesty, professionalism, enthusiasm as well as a touch of humour. Both purchasers and vendors find him easy to engage with and consequently recommend Simon to friends and family when they are thinking of moving. Simon is a football and pizza fan as well as a devoted Father of two!
Samuel joined Northwood in 2011 after working locally in estate agency. His local knowledge and lettings know how helps landlords make an informed decision when deciding to let their property. “My aim is to make the letting of property as easy as possible for landlords, whether they reside locally or on the other side of the world”! Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his young family. “As a petrol head at heart whenever I get a spare minute you can find me under a car or watching Formula 1, I normally support whichever British team/driver is winning”!
Gillian has worked for Northwood since 2006 she deals with maintenance issues and administration relating to landlords and tenants. Gillian is always keen to help where needed with Landlord and Tenant enquiries and is very dedicated to her job role. Other aspects of her job include getting lunch for the directors, “This is where I feel I truly excel”! Gillian enjoys socialising and foreign travel with her family.
Katie started working at Northwood in 2007 originally starting as an administrator. Over the years Katie has dealt with all aspects of the Northwood business from lettings and sales. On returning from maternity leave Katie now works part-time and enjoys the work-life balance this brings, allowing her to bring up her two sons.
