We are looking for highly motivated professionals with an eye for detail and the dedication to provide a first-class service at all times. We have an opportunity for a full-time Property Manager.

The key activities of a Property Manager include:

  • Reporting to Branch Assistant Manager and Directors
  • Preparing properties to let including accurate marketing of properties to company standard
  • Dealing with tenant enquiries, conducting viewings and following up viewings to secure new tenants ensuring cross selling where possible
  • Processing tenancy applications on a timely basis to company standard
  • Conducting tenancy check-in appointments and check-out appointments to company standard
  • Preparation of inventories
  • Deal with tenancy management and lettings administration to company standard
  • Conducting routine inspections and re-let inspections
  • Property Maintenance – deal with all maintenance issues raised under the property managers portfolio and help with others from time to time as required, and take appropriate action as required; also proactive in identifying any upgrade works required at a property
  • Conduct property handback appointments to company standard
  • Liaise with Landlords and Tenants regarding lease renewals, notice letters and rent changes
  • Seek opportunities to bring new business to Northwood by attending regular networking events
  • Deal with Landlord enquiries
  • Answering Phone when in office and reception cover as required
  • Effective diary management – ability to priorities and must have an awareness of what is happening each day ensuring the time and resource is being utilised effectively
  • Inbox management – ensure emails are dealt with on a timely basis to company standard
  • Proactively working with the Lettings & Maintenance team on a day to day basis ensuring effective use of time and allocation of tasks
  • Effectively manage all Landlord and Tenant relationships to a high standard

Whilst experience is not essential as full training will be provided, applicants must have the following:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A positive customer focused attitude and ability to deliver a high-quality service to both Landlords and Tenants
  • The ability to articulate with clear communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy and fast moving environment
  • IT skills with the ability to learn new systems
  • A full, clean UK driving licence

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm
