Northwood Milton Keynes are once again proud to be supporting the annual SAFEagent awareness week taking place from the 6th to the 10th June. This year we are also celebrating the 5th anniversary of the consumer protection campaign.

Founded in 2011, SAFEagent is all about giving both landlords and tenants the peace of mind that comes from knowing your money is protected. Recognised by Government and other industry and consumer organisations, the SAFEagent logo signifies trust, as a fully endorsed Safe agent protects tenants and landlords money through the use of a client money protection scheme. This is done by agents like us, operating and maintaining a separate designated client account where money is held totally separate from the operating funds of the firm. Client money protection schemes (CMP) are run by recognised industry organisations to provide accreditation and/or regulation and are completely independent from the agents themselves.
SAFEagent awareness week is all about industry stake-holders and SAFEagents like Northwood Milton Keynes, coming together from across the country for a community media event. This is to focus on the importance of client money protection and highlight the importance to consumers of only using only those agents willing to ensure their peace of mind in that their money is protected.
John Midgley, Chair of SAFEagent commented:
As founding members of SAFEagent, Northwood is incredibly proud to be supporting SAFEagent week for its 5th year and look forward to working with you during this period. Join us on the 6th– 10th June in continuing to ensure consumers have only the best of experiences when working with lettings agents.
