Northwood Foundation raises £1600 at the NALs conference dinner

The great and the good of the property industry paid tribute last night to the late Nick Cooper by contributing over £1600  towards the newly created Northwood Foundation. Attendees at the NAL’s annual conference dinner in London dug deep into their pockets and drew on their silent auction skills to raise funds for the charity that has been set up in memory of Nick who sadly lost his 2 year battle with cancer in August.

 

Results for the raffle included:

 Holiday in Nerja – Chris Hamer, The Property Ombudsman

Fortnum and Masons hamper – Nick Pay, Kerry London

Holiday at Camber Sands – Caroline Pickering, former Chair of NALS

Consultancy with Nick Tadd – Elan Silver, Winkworth

Medal Winners mixed wines – Sue Wilson, MyDeposits.

Champneys spa break – Peter Hermon-Taylor, Maskells

The silent auction – an interesting proposition for those in the property industry included the following winners:

Ros Renshaw bid highest for signed Surrey County Cricket bat: £101.99.

 Nick Pay, Kerry London, bid highest for the rugby shirt signed by England Rugby team (autumn 2013 internationals squad) £400.

 Gareth Atkins from Foxtons bid highest for the Rugby tickets (four tickets to Gloucester v Worcester Premiership Rugby fixture on 22 December): £200

Case of Chateauneuf du Pape – Scott Kelly from Foxtons’ bid of £200 won
